The Mini OEO Repeater is a compact optical-electrical-optical regeneration device designed to restore attenuated fiber-optic signals and extend transmission distances beyond 100km. It converts incoming optical signals to electrical signals and then regenerates them into optical signals, helping reshape and restore signal quality over long-haul links. The series supports bidirectional operation, 1310nm and 1550nm optical applications, multimode and single-mode fiber, and automatic rate adaptation from 1.25Gbps to 10Gbps. Two available models provide 2x1.25G OEO SFP or 2x10G OEO SFP interfaces in a compact aluminum enclosure.
The repeater uses optical-electrical-optical conversion to regenerate, reshape, and retransmit attenuated optical signals for extended fiber links.
The OEO regeneration architecture is designed to extend fiber transmission distances beyond 100km in suitable long-haul network configurations.
The repeater automatically adapts to optical data rates from 1.25Gbps to 10Gbps for flexible deployment across different network links.
The OEO architecture supports bidirectional optical signal regeneration for two-way communication over long-distance fiber links.
The platform supports optical applications using 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths with suitable transceiver configurations.
The repeater uses a compact aluminum enclosure with a maximum power consumption of 3W for space-efficient network installation.

The incoming optical signal is converted to an electrical representation so the repeater can restore signal integrity before retransmission.
The OEO process regenerates and reshapes attenuated signals rather than simply passing the degraded optical signal through the link.
The regenerated electrical signal is converted back to an optical signal for continued transmission across the next fiber span.
The repeater supports automatic adaptation across 1.25Gbps to 10Gbps optical data rates for different network applications.
Separate optical paths support signal regeneration in both communication directions for bidirectional long-haul links.
The SFP-based architecture provides a modular optical interface for selecting suitable optical transceivers according to the required link parameters.
The 1G version uses two 1.25G OEO SFP interfaces and is designed for optical signal regeneration in lower-rate long-distance fiber links.
The 10G version uses two 10G OEO SFP interfaces for higher-speed signal regeneration and long-haul optical network extension.
The repeater platform supports 1310nm optical configurations for compatible fiber transmission and regeneration systems.
1550nm optical configurations can be used for long-distance fiber links according to the selected SFP optics and network design.
The repeater restores optical signals to extend the usable transmission distance of long-distance fiber communication systems.
The compact OEO platform can regenerate optical signals between separated data center locations where extended fiber spans are required.
The repeater can be integrated into industrial fiber networks to regenerate optical signals across extended transmission paths.
The platform supports both multimode and single-mode fiber applications when paired with compatible optical transceivers.
Industrial-grade versions are specified for an extended operating temperature tolerance of -40°C to 55°C for more demanding deployment environments.
Industrial-grade configurations provide redundant power inputs to improve power continuity in critical network installations.
Industrial-grade versions feature IP40 dust and shock resistance for improved protection in industrial network environments.
Industrial-grade modular configurations support hot-swappable operation to simplify maintenance and replacement procedures.
The product family is designed to meet applicable EMC requirements and is certified with CE, FCC, and RoHS on the listed platform.
The listed standard models provide an MTBF greater than 200,000 hours for continuous optical network operation.
Provides optical signal regeneration for communication systems requiring transmission distances beyond the practical reach of a single fiber span.
Supports optical signal regeneration between data centers and remote network locations over extended fiber links.
Industrial-grade configurations provide signal regeneration for fiber networks deployed in demanding industrial environments.
The OEO architecture provides a practical regeneration point for long-distance telecommunications and transport network links.
Extends optical transmission between separated facilities, buildings, or network nodes where additional fiber regeneration is required.
Regeneration helps restore degraded optical signals and maintain communication quality across extended transmission paths.
The Mini OEO Repeater provides a compact regeneration point for long-distance optical networks where signal attenuation limits transmission distance. Its OEO architecture restores and reshapes optical signals, supports automatic rate adaptation from 1.25Gbps to 10Gbps, and accommodates 1310nm and 1550nm optical applications. With 2x1.25G or 2x10G OEO SFP models, low 3W maximum power consumption, compact aluminum construction, and optional industrial-grade features, it provides a flexible approach to extending fiber communication links beyond 100km.
A Mini OEO Repeater converts an incoming optical signal to an electrical signal and then regenerates it into an optical signal to restore signal quality and extend the fiber transmission distance.
The platform supports automatic rate adaptation from 1.25Gbps to 10Gbps, with separate 1G and 10G models available.
The series includes CL-MN-OEO-1G with 2x1.25G OEO SFP interfaces and CL-MN-OEO-10GSS with 2x10G OEO SFP interfaces.
The platform supports 1310nm and 1550nm optical applications and can be used with multimode or single-mode fiber when matched with compatible optical transceivers.
