Application of C-Light DWDM/CWDM Optical Module in WDM Network

Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) is a technology that simultaneously transmits multiple wavelengths of light in a single optical fiber,that doubles the capacity of optical fiber communication systems. With the rapid development of optical network bandwidth, this technology has a very important commercial application value. The most important DWDM in wavelength division network application in the foreseeable future, CWDM optical module products will have higher single-wave bandwidth (OFC in 2024 already has MARVELL, a cutting-edge technology company, BROADCOM Releases 800G C-BAND Long-distance Transmission Coherent Optical Module), with longer transmission distance (with the support of coherent technology and PAM technology, The effect of chromatic dispersion on the DWDM CWDM wavelength laser is reduced, enabling WDM transmission over longer distances),WDM optical module packaging continues to develop at a high speed in the direction of more miniaturization.

Technical advantages of optical wavelength division network application
It can make full use of the bandwidth resources of optical fiber and save optical fiber resources.
When using C-LIGHT's DWDM CWDM optical module to transmit WDM signals, the transmission capacity of one optical fiber is increased by dozens or hundreds of times compared with the gray light optical module to transmit single wavelength signals.
The existing passive wavelength division network system can be used to continuously upgrade bandwidth, saving the cost of new investment.
C-LIGHT's DWDM CWDM optical module covers a wide range of rates, from 400G 100G to 25G 10G 2.5G 1G. The product wavelength belongs to the C-BAND 100G/50GHz band, which can realize passive WDM optical network sharing.
It can support transparent transmission of multiple protocol signals simultaneously without interfering with each other.
