MA5680T, as an OLT device in XPON system, is used with various ONU devices. MA5680T supports XPON access, P2P optical access, and effectively fills various FTTx access applications, such as FTTH (fiber to the home) FTTB (fiber to the building)  FTTC (fiber to the Curb), base station access, etc.

EPON service board I EPBC / EPBD
 
Main functions:
EPON (Ethernet passive optical network) access board and terminal ONU (optical network unit) equipment cooperate to realize OLT function of EPON system.
External interface:
Each EPBC panel provides 4 EPON SFP pluggable optical modules, and each EPBD panel provides 8 EPON SFP pluggable optical modules
 
● Control module: complete the software loading, operation control, management and other functional
● Exchange modules of the board: realize the aggregation interface module of 4 (8)
● EPON port signals: realize the mutual conversion of EPON optical signal and Ethernet message
● Power module: receives - 48ν power supply from the backplane, converts the cost of the working power of each functional module of the board
● Clock module: provides the working clock for each functional module of the board
 
Special line service board - CSPA
 
Main functions  
•CESoP business processing board, providing SAToP (structure agnostic TDM over packet) processing of 64 E1 channels
• Support the 8K clock channel to the backplane, and send the clock recovered from the service to the main control board.
• One 10GE interface to each main control board
• CSPA completes the conversion from native TDM to SATOP, and the panel does not come out of the interface
